1. You are still fit to work - Even if you claim that you are just working part-time, the mere fact that you are still working goes to show that you are still productive and you can support your own.
2. You are not severely disabled - Just because you feel that you cannot work anymore does not mean that you can qualify for disability claims. That is not a sufficient reason because the social security strongly suggests that disabled people are the ones entitled to claims.
3. Your age - Age is a factor in filing for disability claims. Everyone younger than 50 years old are considered to be in the "young category." If you are in the said age bracket, it is expected from you that you can still do duty jobs.
4. Disability will not last for 12 months - The length of the disability needs to be at least 12 months or a year for you to qualify for the claims. People who have had an operation, surgery, and those who are unable to work can avail for disability claim.
5. You are under unemployment compensation - If you want to receive the compensation you think that you deserve, you can work with an attorney.
6. You have no evidence of medical impairment - Social security will not receive your statements if you cannot present an evidence of your impairment.
